Edinburgh
I visited Edinburgh for a few days this summer to see a friend put on a one woman show at the Fringe Festival. What a place! The medieval architecture of the darkened stone buildings in the old town and perpetual cloudiness created a romantic, ominous, and at times depressing mood. I enjoyed my time in this beautiful, dreary city.
Edinburgh is brimming with cozy cafes serving delectable baked goods. We started our first day off with a trip to this one.
